Arlington County LED Rebate
The AIRE Lighting rebate program provides an opportunity for Arlington ( Arlington County LED Rebate) properties to save energy and money through more efficient lighting choices. Arlington County Government is matching commercial lighting rebates that are being offered by Dominion Virginia Power (DVP) up to $2,500. As of February 27, 2015, the AIRE Lighting program will be discontinued. Applications and funding will be available to reserve until midnight on 2/27/15. Please sign up at the link below to reserve funding for your project.
Who is Eligible?
This rebate program is available to those served by Dominion Virginia Power under a commercial rate. The AIRE program will only cover the replacement of existing fixtures with new efficient fixtures. Eligible building types may include:
- Apartments and condominiums
- Food Sales & Service
- Health Care
- Lodging
- Mercantile
- Office
- Religious Worship
- Service
- Warehouse and Storage
What Projects Are Eligible?
For a complete list of eligible fixtures please visit Step 2 below, or contact Dominion for more information. Some examples of eligible projects include:
- Upgrading T8 fixtures to LEDs
- Replacing incandescent lights with fluorescents
- Installing LED exit signs, and replacing high-wattage and high-intensity fixtures with LEDs
